RepelX is intended for interior water-based latex and acrylic paints. It is not intended for oil-based paint, solvent-based paint, exterior paint, or non-paint uses.

Compatible paint types

Use RepelX with interior water-based latex and acrylic paints. It is designed for ordinary wall, trim, door, ceiling, and cabinet paint systems where the paint manufacturer allows normal mixing and tinting.

Paint types to avoid

Do not use RepelX in oil-based paints, solvent-based coatings, exterior paints, stains, clear coats, epoxies, industrial coatings, or products used on food-contact surfaces.

Color and sheen

At the recommended dose, RepelX is formulated to preserve the appearance of the paint. Always test a small area when using a new paint brand, dark color, specialty finish, or high-sheen coating.

Dose

The directed dose is 1 fl oz of RepelX per 1 US gallon of paint. Do not guess or pour freely. Measure, add, and stir thoroughly.
